Fraport takes control of Lima

In a move to further expand its foreign airport business, Fraport

this week announced it has acquired Alterra Lima Holdings' 57.25% shareholding

in Lima Airport Partners (LAP), operator of Lima International Airport. As a

consequence, Fraport has increased its stake in LAP from 42.75% to 100%. A portion

of LAP shares will subsequently be sold to other partners, however, Fraport

will retain at least a 60% controlling stake over the long-term.
