Ferrovial hit by big drop on the Spanish IBEX index
Shares in Ferrovial, shareholder in BAA, slumped 11.3% yesterday, as Spain's IBEX slid 5.94% yesterday. Spain's sovereign debt levels and weak economic outlook is contributing to a lack of investor confidence in the past few days, with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) stating Spain is still suffering a very deep recession.
Auckland Airport domestic traffic up 8.8% in Dec-2009
Shares in Auckland Airport rose 0.5% yesterday, ahead of the release of its traffic report for Dec-2009 and the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009. Dec-2009 showed signs of a revival in domestic traffic (+8.8% year-on-year), while improvements late in the year reduced the impact of a decline in domestic traffic for the full year (-0.4%).
