Changi to join Asterion consortium in pitch to build new Lisbon airport

Singapore's Changi Airports International (CAI) will reportedly acquire a 5-10% shareholding in the Asterion consortium, which plans to bid for the construction of Lisbon's proposed greenfield international airport project. The Asterion consortium comprises of Brisa - Autoestradas de Portugal SA, Mota-Engil, SGPS SA, Sacyr Vallehermoso SA unit Somague, Banco Comercial Portugues SA, Banco Espirito Santo SA and Portuguese state-owned bank, Caixa Geral de Depositos.
