AoTs Bangkok headaches
Airports of Thailand (AoT), operator of Bangkok Suvarnabhumi,
Bangkok Don Muaeng, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket and Hatyai airports, reported
an 82.9% slump in net profit in the three months ended 30-Jun-07. The drop was
mainly attributed to a 138.4% year-on-year rise in operating expenses, due to
the opening of the New Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (in Sep-06)
and the reopening of Bangkok Don Mueang Airport early this year.
