Air Arabia watching markets on fare increase

Air Arabia is watching the effects of fare increases in the Gulf region before deciding whether to raise its own prices. Emirates recently raised fares in the face of higher fuel costs and other carriers are monitoring markets and fuel prices.

In trading on Wednesday, several Middle Eastern listed airlines finished lower. Jazeera Airways declined 3.3%, while Air Arabia fell 3.1% and Royal Jordanian dropped 2.6%.
