AdamAir plans to triple fleet in the next five years

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - AdamAir's President Director, Adam Suherman, confirmed the following strategic plans:

IPO: Planned for 2007 or 2008 in Singapore;

Network: Primarily focussed on the domestic market, particularly eastern Indonesia. Plans to launch 15 new services (domestic and international) in 2006, including Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur and Denpasar-Perth, and also to China and India in the next five years;

Passenger numbers: Targeting up to eight million in 2006, compared to four million in 2005;

Fares: 25% higher than LCCs, but up to 30% lower than full-service carriers.
