Abu Dhabi Airports Company looks to become a global player

After a strong run of growth at its Abu Dhabi and Al Ain airports, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is now widening its objectives. Under new CEO, Rudy Vercelli, who took up the position in Mar-08, the company has confirmed again this month that it intends to both invest in and operate airports internationally, and is currently negotiating several potential offshore airport investment and management contracts. It has also announced plans to develop the first dedicated business aviation airport in the Middle East.
