Sydney: CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit

CAPA’s events attract the highest calibre of thought-leaders in the industry. This includes strong C-Level executive representation from all types of business models – from full service, LCCs and hybrid airlines.

There is something very important that most airlines either do not recognise – or don’t wish to: The future airline industry will never be the same again. In 2021 at least, there'll be very limited business travel, perhaps as much as 50% of previous levels in the second and half of the year, but even that's probably optimistic. The loss of business travel will undermine the full service airline business model and limit what has traditionally been an important and profitable market segment. In this edition of CAPA Live, we look at the recovery of business travel and try to answer: What segments of the industry will return first? What technology exists to help support recovery? How have the expectations of business travellers changed?

Speaker Highlights include:

  • KLM, President & CEO, Pieter Elbers
  • Finnair, President & CEO, Topi Manner
  • Alaska Air Group, CEO, Ben Minicucci
  • Japan Airlines, Director, Tadashi Fujita
  • Wizz Air, CEO, József Váradi
  • Viva, CEO, Felix Antelo
  • Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd, CEO, John Holland-Kaye
  • Widerøe, CEO, Stein Nilsen
