Ferrovial SA (formerly Grupo Ferrovial) is the world's largest private manager of transportation infrastructure and a leading services provider. Based in Spain, it has operations in 49 countries, a workforce of 107,000 and assets totalling EUR48.2 billion. The merger with Cintra strengthened Ferrovial's business model, which is focused on end-to-end infrastructure management, design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance.
Ferrovial Airports is the division that integrates all of Ferrovial's airport operations and management activities. The most important company in this division is BAA with six airports (since Gatwick sold to GIP) acquired in Jul-2006. Ferrovial also manages Cerro Moreno Airport in Antofagasta (Chile).
