About

VVB was an Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) carrier located at Cardiff St Athan Air Base. The carrier was backed by diversified aviation and maintenance services company, Cardiff Aviation and formed part of the VVB Group, in which Cardiff Aviation Chairman, Bruce Dickinson, acquired a 50% stake in 2012. The carrier also launched VVB Aviation Malta in 2015, which operated with a Maltese Air Operators Certificate. The carrier ceased operations in 2017.
