About

Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) replaced the Civil Aviation Authority as the central regulating body of aviation within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. According to Jordan's civil aviation law of 2007, CARC has financial and administrative independence from the state. It is responsible for the provision of air navigation services, legal affairs, regulation as well as safety and security within the Amman Flight Information Region.
