Zambezi Airlines announces plans to launch new international services

Zambezi Airlines (Zambia) announced plans to introduce new Lusaka-Malawi, Lusaka-Zimbabwe and Lusaka-Namibia services by Apr-2010 (times.co.zm, 19-Jan-2010). CEO Don MacDonald stated that there was great opportunity now to increase business and tourism across the region by opening up routes into other countries. The carrier currently operates services to South Africa and Tanzania, as well as Namibia, through a collaboration with Air Namibia.
