White House appoints ambassador to ICAO

US' Obama Administration announced (01-Jul-2010) the appointment of Duane Woerth as the US Ambassador to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). [more - WhiteHouse] [more - ATA] [more - ACI-NA] [more - ALPA]

ACI-NA: "I applaud the nomination of Duane Woerth. With Duane's background in aviation, he is well qualified to represent the interests of the US in ICAO as it focuses on the critical concerns of safety, security, environmental and other aviation issues," Greg Principato, President of the Airports Council International-North America.
