Qantas Group and Vietnam Airlines confirmed (02-Nov-2015) a series of high-level meetings to reach agreement on the development of Jetstar Pacific in the period from 2016 and 2020. Qantas and Vietnam Airlines acknowledged the turnaround in the carrier's performance over the previous four years, noting: "This is the good time to enhance investment and set targets of long-term development of JPA." Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce added: "We are committed to the future of Jetstar Pacific and value the close relationship with our partner Vietnam Airlines. Since the introduction of Vietnam Airlines as a shareholder in 2012, together we have been able to turn the business around."
