UK Air Passenger Duty to be revised

UK passengers heading to the Bahamas will be required to pay GBP25 more per head departure tax (Sky News, 01-Nov-2010). The Air Passenger Duty will be revised and anomalies in the system have created disadvantages for countries such as Egypt and the Caribbean region. The tax has been divided into four different bands, all are set according to the distance of a country's capital city from London.
