Turkish Airlines takes delivery of its 200th aircraft

Turkish Airlines announced (14-Nov-2012) it took delivery of its 200th aircraft, a Boeing 737-900ER aircraft, on 13-Nov-2012. Turkish Airlines chairman Hamdi Topcu said the airline's goal now is to add the 300th aircraft to its fleet. Mr Topcu said, "Our aim on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, in 2023, is to be a global airlines company with the largest network, be a five star airline company and to be the leading airlines in our region of 1.5 billion people."
