Nigeria's Civil Aviation Authority announced officials from the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have conducted a safety audit of Lagos Murtala Muhammed and Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwea airports (CommunicationsWeek/Daily Independent (Lagos), 21-Mar-2011). Ray Montgomery of the TSA expressed his satisfaction with the current security levels, who noted there had been “remarkable improvement” in the past two years. ICAO will conduct a safety audit of the country’s airports in May-2011.
