Tiger to launch service to Taipei; increase frequency to Greater China

Tiger Airways announced (22-Jul-2010) Taipei as its newest destination and announced plans to increase frequency to four other destinations - see Route Changes Table for more information. With these additions, Tiger Airways' services to Greater China will increase from 44 to 68 flights per week. Taipei is Tiger's sixth destination in Greater China, after Guangzhou, Haikou, Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen. The carrier will increase frequency on these routes from Oct-2010 as follows: Guangzhou (from 7 to 14 times weekly), Hong Kong (from 14 to 21), Macau (from 11 to 12) and Shenzhen (from 5 to 7). The expansion will be supported by the carrier's fleet increase from 10 to 14 by Dec-2010. [more][more - Share Wrap]
