TAP Portugal reports 4th consecutive profit in 2012, annual pax exceed 10 million for first time

TAP Portugal reported (26-Mar-2013) its fourth consecutive year of profitability in 2012 with a profit of EUR15.9 million, compared to a profit of EUR3.1 million in 2011. Details include:

  • Total revenue: EUR2429 million, +6.5% year-on-year;
  • Operating costs:
    • Fuel: Increased EUR93 million (+13%);
    • Non-fuel: EUR1422 million, +4.8%;
  • Operating profit: EUR43.4 million, +5.6%;
  • Passenger numbers: 10.2 million;
  • Load factor: 76.8%, +0.5 ppt;
