Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore to be served by Air India 787, Bali & Istanbul potential 787 routes

India's Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Ajit Singh stated (20-Dec-2012) the carrier will receive five more Boeing 787s during the current financial year, joining the three 787s already received. He said Air India plans to operate to Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore with these aircraft, with Mr Singh also asking the carrier to "explore possibility of flying also to Indonesia including Bali and Istanbul and beyond".
