Spring Airlines to delay planned IPO

Spring Airlines stated it would delay its planned IPO in Shanghai from 2011 to 2012 (China Knowledge/Wall Street Journal, 13-Dec-2010). The company hopes to conduct the IPO in improved market conditions and to get a higher value of assessment for the company. The company plans to raise fund for aircraft purchase. The carrier had initially intended to launch an IPO on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2009.
