Spirit Airlines adds six new services from 08-Nov-2012
Spirit Airlines announced (16-Jul-2012) the following six new services from its newly established Dallas/Fort Worth hub from 08-Nov-2012 - see Route Changes for more information:
- Dallas/Fort Worth-Fort Myers: Three times weekly service from 08-Nov-2012 to 24-Apr-2012 utilising 145-seat A319 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit Airlines will be the sole operator on the route;
- Dallas/Fort Worth-Minneapolis: Four times weekly service from 26-Apr-2013 utilising 145-seat A319 equipment. Daily service begins on 13-Jun-2013. According to Innovata, Spirit Airlines will compete with Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Sun Country on the route;
- Dallas/Fort Worth-New Orleans: Daily service from 14-Apr-2013, increasing to double daily on 13-Jun-2013 utilising 174-seat A320 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit Airlines will be the sole operator on the route;
- Dallas/Fort Worth-Philadelphia: Four times weekly service from 26-Apr-2013, increasing to daily on 13-Jun-2013 utilising 145-seat A319 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit Airlines will compete with American Airlines and US Airways on the route;
- Dallas/Fort Worth-Latrobe: Three times weekly service from 14-Jun-2013 utilising 145-seat A319 equipment. According to Innovata, Spirit Airlines will be the sole operator on the route;
