SkyWest US revenue up 8%, profits down in 3Q2010

SkyWest revenue up 8% - financial highlights for the three months ended 30-Sep-2010:

  • Revenue: USD686.9 million, +7.7% year-on-year;
  • Operating costs: USD628.6 million, +9.4%;
    • Labour: USD185.4 million, +5.6%;
    • Aircraft maintenance, materials and repairs: USD120.9 million, +1.5%;
  • Operating profit: USD58.3 million, -7.9%;
  • Net profit: USD25.5 million, -10.8%;
  • Passenger numbers: 10.3 million, +8.3%;
  • Passenger load factor: 80.8%, -0.5 ppt;
  • Passenger breakeven load factor: 76.5%, +0.6 ppt;
  • Yield: USD 13.20 cents, +1.5%;
  • Revenue per ASM: 10.90cents, +1.9%;
