Skyguide reports widening operating loss in 2009

Switzerland's Skyguide reports the following financial highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009 (according to Belgian Accounting Standards):

  • Total revenue: EUR253.3 million, -2.7% year-on-year;
    • Air navigation services: EUR245.1 million, -3.8%;
  • Total operating costs: EUR259.9 million, -1.4%;
  • Operating profit (loss): (EUR6.7 million), compared to a loss of EUR3.3 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Profit before tax: EUR1.9 million, compared to a loss of EUR38.0 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Net profit: EUR12.2 million, compared to a loss of EUR7.0 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • IRF flights: 1.1 million, -7.2%;
  • Aircraft movements: 1.4 million, -8.1%;
