Shenzhen Airport releases third runway expansion land reclamation announcement

Shenzhen Airport announced (04-Jul-2016) plans to expand its third runway, as existing runway and apron capacity has reached saturation. The expansion project includes land reclamation work across an area of 4.4 million sqm, land formation of 3.7 million sqm, soft ground treatment of 3.8 million sqm and outer seawall construction of 7393m.
