Services at Hong Kong delayed in 2010

Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department reportedly stated that 24% of incoming flights and 21% of outbound services at Hong Kong International Airport were delayed by at least 15 minutes in 2010 (South China Morning Post, 22-Mar-2011). The increase in delays is related to increased air traffic and congestion for services to/from mainland China, which is the largest destination for services to/from Hong Kong. The 2010 figures compare with 20% of incoming flights and 18% of outbound flights being delayed in 2008.
