Royal Jordanian reports record traffic for Jan-2012

Royal Jordanian (RJ) announced (25-Feb-2012) its 25% year-on-year increase reported for Jan-2012 is the highest achieved by the carrier for the month of January since its establishment. RJ president and CEO Hussein Dabbas said the flying hours during the same month increased by 5%, the departures by 3%, while the cargo uplifted, on cargo and passenger flights, by 24%. Mr Dabbas said the aviation industry is still suffering from a decline in travel, especially from Europe and the Far East, due to the events taking place in Syria. [more - original PR]
