Republic Airways forms joint venture with Mesa for Hawaiian services

Republic Airways Holdings announced (13-Oct-2009) it has reached an agreement with Mesa Air Group to form a joint venture to combine Hawaiian jet routes currently flown by both Mesa and Republic. Under the agreement, E170 routes currently operated by Republic will be transitioned to jet service provided by Mesa. The three E170 aircraft will be returned to the mainland US by Nov-2009 and will operate in Republic's branded network. [more]
