Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport 2011 pax back to pre-recession level

US' Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport reported (01-Feb-2012) a 5.3% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 40.6 million in 2011, with the result comparable to pre-recession results of 41 million in annual passenger numbers in 2005 and a record 42 million passengers in 2007. The airport reported spring and summer as its busiest seasons in 2011 with 16 consecutive months of growth. Phoenix Sky Harbor is also targeting more than 50 million annual passenger throughput in 2030. [more - original PR]
