OAG reports (06-Jul-2010) global airline capacity and frequency in Jul-2010 will increase 6% and 5% year-on-year, respectively. Details include:

  • Global: capacity +6%, scheduled services +5% year-on-year;
    • Within Europe: +6%, +4%;
    • To/from Europe: +7%, +9%;
    • Within Africa: +9%, +9%;
    • To/from Africa: +14%, +14%;
    • Within North America: -1%, -1%;
    • To/from North America: +6%, +6%;
    • Within Central and South America: +16%, +16%;
    • To/from Central and South America: +9%, +9%;
    • Within Asia: +10%, +11%;
    • To/from Asia: +9%, +10%;
    • Within Middle East: +10%, +10%;
