OAG reports 4% rise in global seat capacity in Nov-2011

OAG reports (09-Nov-2011) global airline capacity and frequency will rise 4% and 2% year-on-year, respectively, in Nov-2011. Details include:

  • Global: +4% capacity, +2% scheduled services year-on-year;
    • To/from Asia: +7%, +7.7%;
    • To/from Europe: 2%, +0.4%;
    • To/from Middle East: +7%, +7.6%;
    • To/from North America: +3%, +4.8%;
    • To/from Central and South America: +5%, +6.4%;

OAG: China continues to exhibit strong growth, as has been the case for some time now.
