Low fares can't be the only proposition, LCCs have to lead in customer service: Jetstar Group CEO
Jetstar Group CEO Jayne Hrdlicka, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (08-Aug-2014) low fares can not be an airline's sole proposition now, noting: "There's no reason LCCs can't lead in customer service and delivery." Ms Hrdlicka said low fares do not have to be a low level experience from a customer standpoint and that poor service delivery is a bad proposition: "There's daylight between us and our competitors in every market we operate in. We'll be judged not only on the cost of our tickets, but also the overarching experience we provide."
