Kulula extending fleet to eight B737-800s

Kulula announced plans to expand its fleet to eight B737-800s (cape business news, 13-Jan-2010). The company, which is operated by Comair, was launched with one aircraft in 2001. The first new aircraft will be added later in Jan-2010, with the remaining aircraft to be added later in the year. The acquisition was planned to coincide with the FIFA World Cup 2010 and will assist in catering for expected rising passenger demand.
