Kingfisher and American Airlines announce codeshare

American Airlines and Kingfisher Airlines announced (23-Nov-2010) plans to enter into a comprehensive codeshare and frequent flyer relationship starting in 2011, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals. The initial phase of the codeshare relationship will allow American to place its AA code on Kingfisher Airlines' extensive domestic network beyond New Delhi. American will also codeshare on Kingfisher's services from London Heathrow to New Delhi and Mumbai. American operates a daily non-stop service between New Delhi and Chicago O'Hare and Kingfisher Airlines will place its IT code on these services as well as on selected American services between the US and Heathrow.
