Japan and France to meet to discuss bilateral expansion
Japan MLIT announced (02-Jul-2012) it will meet with its French aviation authorities between 04-Jul-2012 to 06-Jul-2012 to discuss expanding their current bilateral air services agreement. According to the ministry, the following national airlines currently operate between Japan and France during the 2012 summer schedules:

- Japan Airlines:
- Tokyo Narita-Paris: Daily frequency codehsaring with Air France;
- Tokyo Haneda-Paris: Daily frequency codehsaring with Air France;
- All Nippon Airways:
- Tokyo Narita-Paris: Daily frequency;
- Japan Airlines:
- French carriers:
- Air France:
- Paris-Tokyo Narita: Twice daily frequency codesharing with Japan Airlines;
- Paris-Osaka Kansai: Daily frequency codesharing with Japan Airlines;
- Paris-Tokyo Narita-Seoul Incheon-Paris: Twice weekly freighter service;
- Air Tahiti Nui:
- Papeete-Tokyo Narita: Twice weekly frequency codeharing with Japan Airlines;
- Air Caledonie International:
- Noumea-Tokyo Narita: Four times weekly frequency codehsaring with Air France;
- Noumea-Osaka Kansai: Three times weekly frequency codesharing with Air France.
