Jamaican Government signed an agreement with Caribbean Airlines

Jamaican Government has reportedly signed an agreement on 22-Jan-2010 with Caribbean Airlines and Air Jamaica to ensure that Caribbean Airlines is designated the exclusive carrier of Jamaica (Jamaica Observer, 19-Feb-2010). Caribbean Airlines is due to commence Jamaican operations on or before 01-Jul-2010 upon the cessation of Air Jamaica's operations.
