Indian airlines report 22% jump in May-2010 domestic pax
India's Ministry of Civil Aviation reported (15-Jun-2010) the following scheduled domestic traffic highlights in May-2010:
- Total passenger numbers: 4.8 million, +21.8% year-on-year;
- Air India: 847,000, +22.8%;
- Jet Airways: 869,000, +41.1%;
- JetLite: 384,000, +29.7%;
- Kingfisher: 1.0 million, -1.0%;
- SpiceJet: 632,000, +27.4%;
- Paramount: 19,000, -76.8%;
- GoAir: 281,000, +49.5%;
- IndiGo: 753,000, +39.4%;
- Seat factor:
- Air India: 77.8%, +8.7 ppts;
- Jet Airways: 82.5%, +13.3 ppts;
- JetLite: 85.4%, +8.0 ppts;
- Kingfisher: 83.2%, +10.3 ppts;
- SpiceJet: 90.4%, +11.3 ppts;
- Paramount: 86.6%, -2.8 ppts;
- GoAir: 86.0%, +1.8 ppt;
