IAG passenger numbers up 9% in Jul-2012, load factor stable
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (03-Aug-2012) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Jul-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 5.4 million, +8.6% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 1.2 million, +30.5%;
- Europe: 2.3 million, +1.5%;
- North America: 831,000, +4.3%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 431,000, -3.4%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 463,000, +23.5%;
- Asia Pacific: 144,000, -1.4%;
- Passenger load factor: 85.7%, stable;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 79.9%, -0.7 ppt;
- Europe: 81.7%, -2.3 ppts;
- North America: 88.6%, +0.5 ppt;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 88.7%, +1.9 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 82.4%, +0.7 ppt;
- Asia Pacific: 85.6%, -0.5 ppt;
