IAG passenger numbers down in Nov-2011, cargo traffic down
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (05-Dec-2011) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Nov-2011:
- Passenger numbers: 3.9 million, -2.9% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 875,000, -13.2%;
- Europe: 1.6 million, -1.9%;
- North America: 600,000, +12.4%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 377,000, +3.3%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 353,000, -6.1%;
- Asia Pacific: 113,000, -7.4%;
- Passenger load factor: 75.3%, -0.3 ppt;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 72.5%, +2.4 ppts;
- Europe: 71%, +1.5 ppts;
- North America: 77.4%, +2.2 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 79.5%, -0.3 ppt;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 71.8%, -3.5 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 73.3%, -7.5 ppts;
