IAG passenger numbers down 2.7% in Jul-2011
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (03-Aug-2011) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Jul-2011:
- Passenger numbers: 5.0 million, -2.7% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 950,000, -21.5%;
- Europe: 2.3 million, +1.5%;
- North America: 797,000, +7.0%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 444,000, +10.4%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 375,000, -5.5%;
- Asia Pacific: 146,000, +11.5%;
- Passenger load factor: 85.7%, +0.6 ppt;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 80.5%, +1.2 ppts;
- Europe: 84%, +1.1 ppts;
- North America: 88.1%, +0.2 ppt;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 86.9%, -1.7 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 81.7%, +2.8 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 86.1%, -0.9 ppt;
