GVK Power & Infrastructure seeking 13.5% stake in Mumbai International Airport

India's GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd reportedly announced plans to finalise the acquisition of a 13.5% stake in Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) from South Africa's Bidvest within the next two months, taking GVK's stake up to 51% (DNA, 14-Nov-2009).

GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd: "We are talking to Bidvest. The deal should happen in the next couple of months. We have signed a non-disclosure agreement and we can't indicate at any price related issues. We are interested in taking our stake to 51% in MIAL," Isaac George, CFO. Source: DNA, 14-Nov-2009.
