France's Consumer Price Index increases 0.2% in Aug-2010

France's National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee) stated (14-Sep-2010) the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.2% in Aug-2010, following a 0.3% reduction in Jul-2010, with a year-on-year increase of 1.4%. The rise of the August index came mainly from the increase of the prices of the manufactured products at the end of the summer sales and from the growth, also for seasonal reason, of the prices of services.
