flybe announces new Inverness-Amsterdam service

flybe announced (16-May-2011) plans to launch of Inverness-Amsterdam services on 05-Sep-2011. The airline will operate seven times weekly services on the sector in the summer and six times weekly services in the winter. Inverness Airport claims the new route "is a direct result of discussions between Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd and flybe with collaborative support and key funding from Highlands & Islands Enterprise." VisitScotland and the Highland Council, and the Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership will also contribute support for the service. [more]
