F2i acquisition of 29.75% stake in SEA accepted by Milan Government

Italy's SEA SpA stated (16-Dec-2011) a EUR385 million offer by Italian investment fund F2i to acquire a 29.75% stake in the airport operator has been accepted by the Milan Government. F2i said the purchase will reinforce its presence in the airport management industry after acquiring the Naples International Airport in 2010. SEA operates Milan Linate and Malpensa airports. The EUR385 million purchase price is to be paid by 29-Dec-2011. F2i was advised by Banca IMI, Merrill Lynch and UniCredit. [more - original PR - Italian]
