Amsterdam Airport Schiphol expected to handle 60 million passengers in 2016
Schiphol Group reported (04-Jan-20156) a record 58.2 million passengers travelled through Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in 2015, an increase of 6.0% year-on-year. The group's regional airports similarly registered growth, with Eindhoven Airport handling 4.3 million passengers, up 10.0%, while Rotterdam The Hague Airport welcomed 1.7 million passengers, up 0.3%. The number of movements also increased in 2015 at all the airports in the group. Looking ahead, CEO and president Jos Nijhuis said the group expects to welcome 60 million passengers at Schiphol in 2016, the year of its centenary. Details include:
