EADS reports strong financial growth in 2Q2012

EADS, parent company of Airbus, revenue up 12% - financial highlights:

      • Airbus Commercial: EUR9086 million, +17%;
    • EBIT: EUR735 million, +98%;
      • Airbus Commercial: EUR402 million, +310%;
    • Net profit: EUR461 million, +281%;
  • Six months ended 30-Jun-2012:
    • Revenue: EUR24,934 million, +14%;
      • Airbus Commercial: EUR16,585 million, +15%;
    • EBITDA: EUR1972 million, +47%;
    • EBIT: EUR1078 million, +91%;
      • Airbus Commercial: EUR548 million, +146%;
    • Net profit: EUR594 million, +445%;
    • Order book: EUR551,711 million, +2% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;
