Widerøe: Most domestic flights will operate on Monday

Direct News Source

19-Apr-2010 Widerøe is planning to operate most of our Domestic flights on Monday as the latest weather forecast is positive. Most flights have available seats, so even if you don't have a reservation, chances are good that we can accomodate you. See our service "Flight Status" for detailed and updated flight schedules. Please be at the airport early.

Due to volcanic ashes in the air over Norway, air traffic may still face restrictions. Based on evaluations by Norwegian Aviation Authorities, Widerøe will operate where permitted. There may, however, still be delays and cancellations caused by local restrictions.

We recommend that passengers check our "Flight status" service for flight updates. This service is being continously updated.

Due to wide impact of the situation, alternative transportation may be difficult to obtain. Our customers who want to cancel their journey, may do so and receive a full refund. Please contact your point of purchase for this.

Refund of tickets: This applies to journeys and passengers impacted by the volcanic eruption on Iceland where the passenger(s) has a reservation for April 15-21 booked through www.wideroe.no. To obtain a refund, please do the following: Reply to the email containing your receipt and request a refund.

Reservations may be changed free of charge to another Widerøe flight before May 10, 2010. This only applies to Widerøe flights in the same booking class. Changes to the itinary is not permitted. Please contact your original point of purchase to make your changes.

Due to the high volume of calls, Widerøe is unfortunately not able to answer all phone calls. Please use our online chat at http://www.wideroe.no or email internetbooking@wias.no for enquiries.
