Customers to demand more control over booking and travel: Finnair CCO

Finnair CCO Juha Järvinen, speaking at the CAPA World Aviation Summit, said (20-Nov-2014) generational shift among passengers over the next five to 10 years will result in passengers demanding more control over the booking and travel process. The carrier hopes to meet passenger demand and gain greater insight into individual customers through aircraft connectivity systems. Mr Järvinen also hopes to offer a mix of work and leisure to corporate customers and expand the airline's reach to include marketing to partners of corporate travellers.
