Chile reports 14% jump in Jan-2011 pax

Chile’s Civil Aviation Board reported air passenger traffic increased 14.2% year-on-year to 1.2 million Jan-2011. Details include:

  • Passenger numbers: 1.2 million, +14.2% year-on-year;
  • International: 582,144, +10.3%;

      • LAN Airlines: 272,523 passengers, +3.3%;
      • TAM Lineas Aereas: 29,690, +0.5%;
      • American Airlines: 26,732, +20.4%;
      • Sky Airline: 25,752, +235.6%%;
      • Iberia: 19,417, +0.7%;
      • COPA: 18,883, +41.1%;
      • LAN Peru: 18,188, stable%;
      • LAN Ecuador: 17,179, -0.3%%;
      • LAN Argentina: 16,739, +26.8%;
      • Aerol Argentinas: 16,717, +16.8%;
      • Air France: 14,965, -3.2%;
      • Air Canada: 14,767, -3.2%;
      • TACA Peru: 14,665, +45.1%;
      • PAL Airlines: 14,372, +51.3%;
      • LAN Express: 14,145, +11.3%;
      • Pluna: 12,986, +8.6%;
      • Delta: 11,238, +7.3%;
