British Airways expects JV with American and Iberia to be approved soon

British Airways Executive VP for the Americas, Simon Talling-Smith, stated the carrier is confident the US Department of Transportation (DoT) will approve its revenue sharing JV with American Airlines and Iberia later in 2009 (abtn, 26-Aug-09). He added that approval would result in a "really significant deepening of the oneworld alliance."
